Spring break is just around the corner and this is the time to spend quality time with your family. In this blog we share five fun activities for an unforgettable time with your children.

1. Take a walk on the beach
Spring is the perfect time for a lovely fresh walk on the beach. Put an extra sweater on your little one for when it is chilly by the sea. Let your children look for shells and then drink a hot chocolate together on the terrace or in the restaurant.

2. Visit to the zoo
A day at the zoo is always fun with the children. Discover the world of wild animals together, observe exotic birds and meet cute animals in the petting zoo. It is not only educational, but also super fun to see that sparkle in your little one's eyes when they see an elephant, giraffe or lion for the first time.

3. Day in Madurodam
Madurodam is highly recommended for a unique experience! Let your little one feel as big as a giant for a day among all the miniature houses, buildings and small landscapes that characterize the Netherlands. It's a great and educational way to teach your little ones more about the history and architecture of Dutch while enjoying a day out together.

4. Amusement park or museum
Choose a day of fun at the amusement park, where the little ones can have fun on all the attractions, while you can enjoy their smiling faces. If the weather does not cooperate, fortunately there are alternatives. For example, visit a museum that is also fun for your children. Consider, for example, the Miffy museum in Utrecht or Nemo in Amsterdam. Both theme parks and museums offer many activities suitable for different ages, making it a perfect choice whatever the weather.

5. Ice skating or skiing
Maybe you are going on a wonderful winter sports holiday during your spring break, and you can't wait to hit the slopes. Are you staying at home during the holidays, but do you want to enjoy the snow or ice? Then go to an indoor skating rink or to Snowworld with your family. This way you can still experience the enchanting winter experience.
